Michael Efevberha (ex Al Fateh) signs at Quimper- April 9, 2022
In 2006 (2006 years after his graduation) he was drafted by Idaho Stampede (D-League) in first round (112th overall). The former California State University Northridge standout is in his 16th (!!!) season in pro basketball. He was a member of Nigerian Senior National Team two years ago. Efevberha is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in twelve different countries playing on five different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Australian, African and of course North American leagues. Efevberha has played previously professionally in China (Blue Whales, Flying Tigers and Chongqing), Israel (Bnei Hasharon), Korea (LG Sakers and Anyang KGC), Lebanon (Al Riyadi, Beirut Club, Sagesse, Homentmen and Champville), Morocco (AS Sale), New Zealand (Saints), Qatar (Al Rayyan and Al Shamal), Russia (Spartak Primorie Vladivostok), Switzerland (Monthey), France (JA Vichy), Czech Republic (Nymburk) and United Arab Emirates (Al Sharjah). He is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Quimper.
