Chalon adds Iroegbu to their roster

Ike Iroegbu

ES Chalon-Sur-Saone (Jeep ELITE ProA) added to their roster 26-year old Nigerian international guard Ike Iroegbu (188cm-86kg-95, college: WSU) for new 2021-22 season. He played last season at Rouen Metropole Basket in French ProB. In 13 games Iroegbu recorded very impressive stats: 19.6ppg, 2.5rpg and 3.9apg. He also played for Rasta Vechta in German BBL where in four games Iroegbu averaged 8.8ppg, 2.5rpg and 3.5apg.
He also represented Nigeria at the Afrobasket Championships four years ago. His team won Silver and his stats at that event were 6 games: 14.8ppg, 4.5rpg, Assists-1 (5.0apg), FGP: 50.0%, 3PT: 20.8%, FT: 74.3%.
Iroegbu is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Lithuania (Lietkabelis), NBA (Sacramento Kings), Germany (Science City Jena) and NBA G League (Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario and Capital City Go-Go).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Iroegbu was voted to Afrobasket.com All-Afrobasket Championships 1st Team back in 2017 at his college time.
He attended Washington State University until 2017 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
