Ahmed Hamdy is a newcomer at Rivers Hoopers

Rivers Royal Hoopers strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old Egyptian forward Ahmed Hamdy (206-104kg-93, college: TCU, agency: One Motive Sports). He is the second import player in the roster for Basketball Africa League as USA Kaylon Tappin signed here earlier.
Hamdy played most recently at BC Rustavi 1991 in Georgian Superleague. In 13 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.9ppg, 10.4rpg (#4 in the league), 1.6apg and 1.2spg last season. Great year indeed as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Georgian League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (2 times).
Hamdy graduated from Texas Christian University in 2018 and it will be his second season as a professional player.
