Granada signs Amida Brimah

Amida Brimah

Coviran Granada (Liga Endesa) signed 31-year-old Ghanian center Amida Brimah (213cm-104kg-1994, college: UConn). He already started the season at Estudiantes in the Primera FEB. In 8 games he had 4.3ppg, 3.0rpg, and 1.3bpg. Last season he played at another Spanish team Valencia. He also played 19 games in Liga Endesa where he recorded 4.1ppg, 2.4rpg, and 1.1bpg. Another team he played briefly was BAXI Manresa. He also played briefly at Givova Scafati Basket (Serie A) in the Italian league.
Brimah is a very experienced player. He has played in nine different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America). Brimah has played professionally in Belgium (Oostende), France (JL Bourg), Italy, Japan (Happinets), Puerto Rico (Mets), Serbia (Partizan), NBA (San Antonio Spurs and Indiana Pacers), NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors, Austin Spurs, Noblesville Boom, and Grand Rapids Gold), and NBA Summer League (Brooklyn Nets and Indiana Pacers).
Among many awards, he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Center of the Year in 2021.
He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2017 and it's his 9th season as a pro player.
