Valencia adds Brimah to their roster

Amida Brimah

Valencia Basket (Liga Endesa) added to their roster 30-year old Ghanian center Amida Brimah (213cm-104kg-1994, college: UConn). He already started the season at BAXI Manresa in Spanish Liga Endesa. In 8 games he recorded 3.4ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.5bpg. He also played 4 games in Basketball Champions League where he averaged just 2.8ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.3bpg. The other team he played shortly was Givova Scafati Basket (Serie A) in Italian league.
Brimah is quite experienced player. Thanks to Brimah's pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in nine different countries. He has played previously professionally in Belgium (Oostende), France (JL Bourg), Italy, Japan (Happinets), Puerto Rico (Mets), Serbia (Partizan), NBA (San Antonio Spurs and Indiana Pacers), NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors, Austin Spurs, Indiana Mad Ants and Grand Rapids Gold) and NBA Summer League (Brooklyn Nets and Indiana Pacers).
Among many awards his college team made it to the French Leaders Cup final in 2023. Brimah was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Center of the Year back in 2021.
He graduated from University of Connecticut in 2017 and it is his eighth season as a professional player.
