Spintex sign Larry Johnson, ex Iccan

Larry Johnson

Defending champion Spintex Knights Accra (ABL D1) inked 32-year old American 193cm forward Larry Johnson (college: Clarion). He joins another USA player DeShang Weaver who is already in the roster.
He was second best scorer at Iccan in Ecuadorian National League last season where in 12 games he just recently played he averaged 12.1ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.5apg and 1.7spg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very good season in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Ecuadorian National League Second Team.
He has played also professionally in Canada (Windsor Express).
Johnson graduated from Clarion University in 2016 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball. He played also for Youngstown State University for 3 years.
