Defending champion Spintex Knights Accra (ABL D1) tabbed 25-year old American 201cm forward DeShang Weaver. He just graduated from Oral Roberts University (NCAA). He has played there for the last five years. His high school career he had spent at Cypress Falls High School in Houston, TX.
As mentioned above he is just out of the college and it will be his first full season in pro basketball.
