Napoli inks Ben Bentil

Gevi Napoli Basket (Serie A) signed 29-year old American (has also Ghanian passport) power forward Ben Bentil (206cm-104kg-1995, college: Providence). He already started the season at H.Tel-Aviv in Israeli Winner League. In two games he had 4.5ppg, 1.0rpg and 1.0apg. The last season season he played at Thunders (B1 League) in Japanese league.
In 2016 he was drafted by Boston Celtics (NBA) in second round (51st overall). The former Providence College star is in his ninth season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Bentil has played in eleven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in China (Flying Tigers), France (Chalons Reims), Greece (Peristeri and Panathinaikos), Japan, Serbia (Crvena zvezda), Spain (Surne Bilbao), Turkey (Bahcesehir), Italy (Armani Milano), NBA (Dallas Mavericks and Indiana Pacers) and NBA G League (Indiana Mad Ants).
Among many awards he won Serbian League championship title in 2023. Bentil was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 Honorable Mention back in 2021.
