The last season season he played at Thunders (B1 League) in Japanese league. In 2016 he was drafted by Boston Celtics (NBA) in second round (51st overall). He graduated from Providence College and it is his ninth season in pro basketball. He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in ten different countries. Bentil tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in China (Flying Tigers), France (Chalons Reims), Greece (Peristeri and Panathinaikos), Italy (Armani Milano), Japan, Serbia (Crvena zvezda), Spain (Surne Bilbao), Turkey (Bahcesehir), NBA (Dallas Mavericks and Indiana Pacers) and NBA G League (Indiana Mad Ants). Among many awards he won Serbian League championship title in 2023. Bentil was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 Honorable Mention back in 2021.
