Daniel Sackey (ex Sudbury F.) signs at Hyeres-Toulon

ProB newcomer Hyeres-Toulon Var Basket landed 25-year old Canadian-Ghanian 175cm point guard Daniel Sackey. He played most recently at Sudbury Five in Canadian BSL league. In 10 games he averaged 3.2ppg, 1.1rpg and 1.4apg last season.
His team made it to the BSL Semifinals in 2024.
For two previous seasons (2021-23) he played at Privateers in U.S. semi-pro league NCAA. He also played 26 games in NCAA1 where he had 3.3ppg, 1.0rpg and 2.3apg in 2022-23 year.
Sackey represented Canada at the World Championship U17 in Zaragoza (Spain) eight years ago. During this event he scored an average of 1.7 points per game and had 1.4 rebounds per game.
He has played also in other USA team and other team (St. Louis Christian Academy and hornlea). His team made it to the BSL Semifinals in 2024.
