Manresa lands Amida Brimah

Amida Brimah

BAXI Manresa (Liga Endesa) tabbed 30-year old Ghanian 213cm center Amida Brimah (college: UConn). He was about to sign at Givova Scafati Basket in Italian Serie A, but the plans were changed.
The most of last season he spent at Warriors in U.S. NBA-G-League where in 21 games he averaged 7.1ppg, 7.0rpg and 2.8bpg. He also played for Gold in NBA G League.
Brimah is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in nine different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Brimah has played previously professionally in Belgium (Oostende), France (JL Bourg), Italy, Japan (Happinets), Puerto Rico (Mets), Serbia (Partizan), NBA (San Antonio Spurs and Indiana Pacers), NBA G League (Austin Spurs and Indiana Mad Ants) and NBA Summer League (Brooklyn Nets and Indiana Pacers).
Among many awards his college team made it to the French Leaders Cup final in 2023. He was also voted to Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Center of the Year back in 2021.
Brimah graduated from University of Connecticut in 2017 and it is his eighth season in pro basketball.
