Yakuba Ouattara signs at Paris

Paris Basketball (Betclic ELITE ProA) signed 32-year-old French-Ghanian international 192cm swingman Yakuba Ouattara for the upcoming season. He spent the last three years with AS Monaco Basket in the Betclic ELITE ProA, averaging 6.0ppg and 2.3rpg in 40 games last season. Ouattara also played 26 games in Euroleague, posting 4.2ppg and 1.5rpg, helping his team reach the quarterfinals.
Ouattara has also been a member of the French international program for some years. He has regularly played for the French senior team since 2016 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2011.
Ouattara also represented France at the FIBA World Cup in Philippines-Japan-Indonesia last year. During this event, he scored an average of 4.3 ppg and had 1.3 rpg.
He is a very experienced player. Ouattara has played also in Spain (Real Betis), NBA (Brooklyn Nets), Spain, France (Chalon/Saor and Denain Voltaire) and NBA G League (Long Island Nets).
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com French ProA All-Domestic Players Team in 2017.
