Ben Bentil (ex Gunma CT) agreed terms with H.Tel-Aviv

Hapoel Shlomo Tel-Aviv (Winner League) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American (has also Ghanian passport) 206cm power forward Ben Bentil (college: Providence) for season 2024-25. He played most recently at Gunma Crane Thunders in Japanese B1 League. In 50 games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.0ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.5apg and 1.0spg last season. Good year as he was voted League Player of the Week.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Crvena Zvezda (KLS) in Serbian league. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. He also played 2 games in Serbian KLS where he averaged 11.0ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.0apg in that year. Bentil helped them to win the league title. He also played 30 games in Euroleague where he got 8.4ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.1apg in that year.
In 2016 he was drafted by Boston Celtics (NBA) in second round (51st overall). The former Providence College standout is in his ninth season in pro basketball.
Bentil is a very experienced player. Thanks to Bentil's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in ten different countries. He has played previously professionally in China (Flying Tigers), France (Chalons Reims), Greece (Peristeri and Panathinaikos), Italy (Armani Milano), Serbia, Spain (Surne Bilbao), Turkey (Bahcesehir), NBA (Dallas Mavericks and Indiana Pacers) and NBA G League (Indiana Mad Ants).
Among many awards he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 Honorable Mention back in 2021.
