Nokia inks Fiifi Aidoo

BC Nokia (Korisliiga) signed 27-year old Finn-Ghanian ex-international point guard Fiifi Aidoo (189cm-91kg-1996, college: GCU, agency: Players Group) for upcoming 2023-24 season. Aidoo played last season at Grengewald in Luxembourg LBBL. In 5 games he had 8.2ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.8apg. He also played for Fyllingen BBK in Norwegian BLNO where in 29 games he recorded 14.7ppg, 3.7rpg, 5.0apg and 2.0spg. 2022-23 was a great season as he was named to Eurobasket.com Norwegian BLNO All-Bosmans Team and Eurobasket.com All-Norwegian BLNO Second Team.
Aidoo was also a member of Finnish international program for some years. He played for Finnish Senior National Team between 2015 and 2018 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2016.
Aidoo represented Finland at the World University Games in Napoli (Italy) four years ago. His stats at that event were 3 games: 1.7ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.0apg.
He has played previously professionally in Spain (Benicarlo) and Finland (Kataja, Kobrat and Ura Basket).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of WAC Tournament in 2018. Aidoo was voted to Eurobasket.com Finnish 1st Division Division A All-Domestic Players Team back in 2016.
He graduated from Grand Canyon State University in 2018 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
