Tormes add Mensah to their roster

LEB Silver newcomer La Antigua Tormes added to their roster 29-year old American (has also Ghanian passport) guard Bright Mensah (193cm-86kg-1992, college: William Paterson, agency: Helping Ballers) for season 2022-23. He is the second import player in the roster as Cameroonian Nelson Yengue signed here earlier.
He played most recently at Maia Basket in Portuguese Proliga. In 26 Liga Betclic games he recorded 12.6ppg, 4.7rpg, 4.0apg and 1.3spg in 2020-21 year. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week.
The previous (2019-20) season he played at Arvato College Wizards in German Regionalliga where in 22 games he averaged impressive 18.0ppg, 3.9rpg, 2.9apg and 1.6spg in that year. He helped them to win the group title.
In 2017 (a year after his graduation) he was drafted by London Lightning (NBL Canada) in first round (11th overall).
The former William Paterson (NCAA Div.III) star is in his seventh season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player.
