Akita Northern Happinets add Brimah to their roster

Akita Northern Happinets (B1 League) added to their roster 28-year old Ghanian center Amida Brimah (213cm-104kg-1994, college: UConn) for new 2022-23 season. Brimah played this summer at Mets de Guaynabo in Puerto Rican BSN league. He managed to play in four leagues last year (!!!). First he played at Filou Oostende in Belgian Pro Basketball League. The team played in three different competitions that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In four Belgian Pro Basketball League games he had 4.8ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.8bpg. Brimah's team won the league title and they also made it to the Cup final. Brimah also played 9 games in Basketball Champions League where he recorded 9.3ppg, 6.6rpg and 2.8bpg. He also played 10 games in BNXT League where he averaged 8.3ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.9bpg.
Brimah is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Serbia (KK Partizan NiS Beograd), NBA (San Antonio Spurs and Indiana Pacers), NBA G League (Austin Spurs and Fort Wayne Mad Ants) and NBA Summer League (Brooklyn Nets and Indiana Pacers).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Center of the Year in 2021.
Brimah graduated from University of Connecticut in 2017 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
