KK Crvena Zvezda MTS Beograd (KLS) signed 27-year old American (has also Ghanian passport) power forward Ben Bentil (206cm-104kg-1995, college: Providence) for upcoming 2022-2023 season. Bentil played last season at AX Armani Exchange Milano in Italian Serie A. He managed to play in four leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 29 Serie A games he had 9.1ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.1apg. Bentil helped them to win the league title and the cup. He also played 23 games in Euroleague where he recorded 5.6ppg and 2.4rpg. Bentil contributed to his team making it to the quarterfinals. The other team he played that season for was Acibadem in Turkish BSL. In 8 games he averaged 12.0ppg, 4.4rpg and 2.3apg. He also played 4 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he got 14.8ppg, 5.8rpg and 1.5spg.
In 2016 he was drafted by Boston Celtics (NBA) in second round (51st overall). Bentil graduated from Providence College and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Bentil has played in six different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in China (Flying Tigers), France (Chalons Reims), Greece (Peristeri and Panathinaikos), Spain (Bilbao), NBA (Dallas Mavericks and Indiana Pacers) and NBA G League (Fort Wayne Mad Ants).
