David Cournooh agreed terms with Brescia

David Cournooh

Germani Brescia Leonessa (Serie A) inked 31-year old former Italian-Ghanian international 187cm guard David Cournooh, agency: Interperformances for upcoming season. Cournooh played most recently at Givova Scafati Basket in Italian Serie A2. In 14 games he recorded 9.9ppg, 4.2rpg and 2.5apg last season. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. Cournooh also played for Vanoli Basket Cremona that season where in 28 Serie A games he averaged 11.5ppg, 3.4rpg and 2.3apg.
He was a member of Italian international program for some years. Cournooh was called to Italian Senior National Team two years ago and previously for U20 National Team back in 2010.
He has played previously for eight other teams: Cantu, Pistoia, Fortitudo Kigili Bologna, Mens Sana, Ferrara, Imola, Brindisi and Siena Virtus.
His game is described as: Not so tall to play the SG, neither a great outside shooter, but he's very quick and athletic. Great upside if he will add some passing and court vision.
