David Cournooh agreed terms with Scafati

Givova Scafati Basket (Serie A2) inked 31-year old former Italian-Ghanian international 187cm guard David Cournooh, agency: Players Group. Cournooh started the season at Vanoli Basket Cremona in the Serie A. In 28 games he recorded 11.5ppg, 3.4rpg and 2.3apg. Serie A2 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
He was a member of Italian international program for some years. Cournooh was called to Italian Senior National Team two years ago and previously for U20 National Team between 20 and 2010.
He has played previously for eight other teams: Cantu, Pistoia, Lavoropiu Fortitudo Bologna, Mens Sana, Ferrara, Imola, Brindisi and Siena Virtus.
His game is described as: Not so tall to play the SG, neither a great outside shooter, but he's very quick and athletic. Great upside if he will add some passing and court vision.
