Braves jump into Accra Basketball League Men's Division I top spot

Ahead of the upcoming round of games in the 2021-2022 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Regular Season, Braves of Customs have taken up top spot in the Men's Division I. The serial league winners lead the nine team standings with nine points from winning four out of five games so far this season. Braves recorded a 59-35 win over Ghana Police Service in the last round of games played. Braves lead defending champions Reformers of Prisons by a point but the latter has played a game fewer than Customs. Prisons is yet to lose a game this season and has eight maximum points from winning all four games. Leopards recovered from a slow start to beat Ghana National Fire Service 44-37 to rank third in the league; the win over Fire was Leopards third win in four games. On the other hand, Ghana Police continues to struggle this season as it remains winless after four games played. The team ranks eighth ahead of bottom ranked Tudu Magic but Magic has played just two games all season.
