The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Cairo: Al Ahly (#1) and Al Gezira (#7). Al Ahly (11-0) crushed visiting Al Gezira (5-6) by 18 points 93-75. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Al Gezira. Al Ahly dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Al Gezira's 36. Al Ahly forced 22 Al Gezira turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 21 passes made by Al Gezira's players. The former international power forward Raneem Elgedawy (193-1997, college: WKU) stepped up and scored 25 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and Nadine Salawi chipped in 20 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists and 7 steals. At the losing side Sara Khaled responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated Al Ahly have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 11-0 record, which they share with NBEC. Al Gezira at the other side keeps the seventh position with six games lost.

The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for NBEC. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Al Ahly. Nasr at the other side keeps the sixth place with five games lost.
Aviation has finally registered their first victory this season after ten consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat El Ward (1-5) 47-40 on Saturday. Farida Essam fired 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Mariem Tarek produced 5 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Aviation (1-10) left bottom position moving up to fifteenth place. It was El Ward's third loss in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with five games lost.
There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 13: Heliopolis lost to Somouha on the opponent's court 61-74. Alexandria outscored Misr Insurance in a home game 84-40. Al Shams recorded a loss to Olympic on the road 67-63. Winless New Giza was defeated by Shooting on its own court 63-72. Wadi Degla was smashed by Al Zohour in Cairo 92-60.
