Everything went according to plan when eleventh rankedShooting (5-7) beat on the road bottom-ranked New Giza (0-10) 72-63 on Saturday. Shooting outrebounded New Giza 45-31 including a 34-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Shooting looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Center Malak Elhemaly (181-2008) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Mohamed Joud chipped in 14 points and 5 assists. Shooting's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Tamia Lawhorne (186-2001, college: Marshall) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and Malak Emad added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Shooting moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Somouha and Heliopolis. New Giza lost their tenth game in a row. They still close the standings with ten games lost.
