What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.
The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Cairo: Al Ahly (#1) and Heliopolis (#7). Heliopolis were smashed at home by 19 points 52-71 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Al Ahly forced 21 Heliopolis turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Heliopolis helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for Nadine Salawi who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. American-South Sudanese forward Rose Macuei (187-2000) contributed with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners.
