Khalifa Koumadje (ex ALBA) may sign at Heroes

Shandong Heroes (CBA) is about to land 28-year old Chadian 223cm center Khalifa Koumadje (college: FSU) who played last time at ALBA Berlin in Germany. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In four BBL games he averaged 7.3ppg and 4.8rpg this season. He also played 5 games in Euroleague where he had 4.4ppg, 8.0rpg and 1.8bpg.
He is a very experienced player. Koumadje has played also professionally in Russia (Avtodor), Spain (Estudiantes), NBA G League (Delaware Blue Coats) and NBA Summer League (Portland Trail Blazers). He played in the final of German Bundesliga in 2024.
Among many awards he was voted USBasket.com All-NBA G League Defensive Player of the Year back in 2020.
Koumadje graduated from Florida State University in 2019 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball.
