Jacques Alingue is a newcomer at Blois

Jacques Alingue

ADA Blois Basket 41 (Betclic ELITE ProA) added experienced 36-year old Chadian-French ex-international power forward Jacques Alingue (203cm-1988) to their roster for the 2024-25 season. Alingue has played for the last four years at JDA Dijon Bourgogne in the Betclic ELITE ProA. In 32 games, he recorded 4.1ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.4apg, and 1.3spg last season, helping them win the cup. He also played 12 games in Basketball Champions League, averaging 4.4ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.3apg, and 1.4spg. Alingue was a member of the Chadian Senior National Team in 2011.
Alingue has spent his entire career in France playing for four other teams: Le Mans, SIG Strasbourg, Hyeres-Toulon, and Souffelweyersheim.
Among many awards, he was voted Eurobasket.com All-French ProA Defensive Player of the Year back in 2018. He is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Blois.
