Koyanouba is back at Algeciras

Enerdrink UDEA Baloncesto Algeciras (LEB Silver) signed 26-year old Chadian ex-international center Edmond Koyanouba (207cm) for upcoming 2021-22 season. It is actually his comeback to Algeciras as he has played here before. Koyanouba will still stay in Spain where he played last season at L'Hospitalet in LEB Silver. However his team was relegated to EBA, but left the team in Mar.'21. In 18 LEB Silver games he had 4.4ppg and 4.1rpg.
He ended the previous (2019-20) season at Melilla Baloncesto (LEB Gold). In only one game he recorded 9 points, 2 rebounds and 1 block. But the most of that year he spent at Ciudad Autonoma de Melilla Enrique Soler (EBA). In 20 games he averaged 12.8ppg and 10.8rpg. He helped them to win the regular season. 2019-20 was a great year as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish EBA Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week. He was a member of Chadian Senior National Team between 2017 and 2018.
Koyanouba has played previously for seven other teams: Ferrol, Valladolid, Andujar, OH!TELS Union Linense de Baloncesto, Marin, Fundacion Baloncesto Valladolid and OH!TELS Union Linense de Baloncesto.
