PLACIDE NAKIDJIM

LEB Silver newcomer Igualatorio Cantabria Estela Santander inked 24-year old Chadian international center Placide Nakidjim (205-94). He is a well-known player in Spanish LEB Silver as he played most recently at Fundacion Globalcaja La Roda. In 31 LEB Silver games in Spain he averaged 13.1ppg, 9.1rpg (#3 in the league), 1.3apg, 1.1spg and 1.7bpg last season. Nakidjim helped them to make it to the cup final. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Silver Import Player of the Year, Center of the Year and selected to 1st Team.
The previous (16-17) season he played at CB Cazorla Jaen Paraiso Interior where in 9 LEB Silver games he had very impressive stats: 17.9ppg, 11.1rpg, 2.6apg, 1.2spg and 2.8bpg. Nakidjim contributed to his team ending the regular season as at the second position in the league. Good season as he was selected League Player of the Week. He also played for Moron that season. In 10 LEB Silver games he recorded 9.0ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.0spg and 1.0bpg. Good season as he was also here selected League Player of the Week. The other team Nakidjim played shortly was Basket Globalcaja Quintanar. In 7 LEB Silver games he got remarkable 19.3ppg, 12.3rpg, 1.7apg and 2.3bpg. Nakidjim has been regularly called to Chadian Senior National Team since 2017.
He has played previously for four other teams: Real Madrid, Real Madrid II, Movistar Estudiantes Madrid B and Cambados.
