Rwanda kept the perfect record at the FIBA AfroCan Zone 5 Qualifiers after fending off host nation Tanzania 77-57. Rwanda dominated the game to seal the third straight win.
Jean Nshobozwa (193-G-1998) stepped up with 20 points and Dieudonne Ndizeye poured in 13. Cadeau de Dieu Furaha followed them with 12 points in a win. Kijogoo Mwalimu (C/F-1989) and Fotius Felesian (2002) answered with 14 points each in a loss.
