Rwanda extended their winning streak at the FIBA AfroCan Zone 5 Qualifiers. They improved to a 2-0 record beating South Sudan 72-55. The second period was decisive in the game as Rwanda needed a 21-9 surge to seal the win.
Ntore Habimana (196-G-1997, college: Laurier), Dieudonne Ndizeye (F-1996), Dick Sano (198-F-2004) and Steven Hagumintwari (198-PF-1993) top-scored with 11 points each. Aluk Adub (198-PF-1987, college: FMU) replied with 17 points in the losing effort.
