Kenya eased into the championship game in Bamako as they thumped Morocco. Kenya dominated from start to finish. They recorded a 50:26 halftime lead. Kenya drained 46 points in the second half and cruised to the victory. Erick Mutoro (180-PG-92) posted 32 points, while Tylor Ongwae (201-F-91, college: ULM) accounted for 20 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for Kenya. Sami Al Uariachi (185-PG) replied with 20 points for Morocco.

DR Congo - Angola 84-78
DR Congo advanced into the title game as they held off Angola. DR Congo trailed by 9 points after ten minutes of action. But they held Angola to only 10 points in the second frame to pull within two points. DR Congo drained 54 points in the second half to snatch a crucial win. Six players scored in double digits for DR Congo. Maxi Munanga (191-G-93) stepped up with 20 points, while Evariste Shonganya (204-F/C-92) added 17 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds for the winners. Fidel Cabita (206-C-93) replied with 19 points for Angola.
