Mali - Nigeria 81-70 Mali outscored Nigeria to enter the semifinal stage in South Africa. Nigeria enjoyed a 23-19 lead after ten minutes. Mali responded with a 21-15 run in the second frame to earn a 40-38 halftime lead. They followed with a 27-17 run in the fourth term to ice the victory. Youssouf Traore (207-C-2006), Ibrahim Doumbia (185-G-2006) and Mamadou Traore (205-C-2006) produced 17 points each for Mali. Isaac Ezekiel (2007) answered with 24 points and 8 rebounds for Nigeria. Morocco - Angola 61-45 Morocco overcame Angola in the quarterfinal clash. Morocco registered a 37-25 halftime advantage. They held Angola to only 7 points in the fourth frame and raced to the win. Rayane Solhi (G-2007) produced 22 points, while Omar Karem (186-G-2007) added 18 points for Morocco. Aginaldo Neto (185-G-2006) answered with 12 points and 9 rebounds for Angola. Egypt - Senegal 61-68 Senegal sealed the semifinal berth as they toppled Egypt. Senegal recorded a 32-28 halftime lead. They protected the advantage throughout the second half and raced to the win.
