Youssouf Traore, 17-year old Malian center was honored as the Most Valuable Player at the FIBA Under 18 AfroBasket. He plays for the Palmer Basquet Mallorca Palma in Spain. Traore received multiple other awards, earned the Best Forward and was named to the First Team. He averaged almost 13 points per game during the event. Traore led the AfroBasket Under 18 in rebounds per game with over 16. He recorded double-doubles in 6 games during the event. Traore's 17 points against Nigeria were the most he scored at the tournament.
Rayane Solhi, 17-year old guard picked up the Best Guard of FIBA Under 18 AfroBasket. He also earned a spot in the First Team. Solhi orchestrated his way to the second spot in points per game, showcasing a dazzling an average of over 18. He also registered over 6 rebounds per game at the event. Solhi's 22 points against South Africa were the most he scored at the tournament.
Amadou Seini, 17-year old Cameroonian center was named the Best Center at the FIBA Under 18 AfroBasket. He plays for the Conforma Italia Varese Academy in Italy. Seini was also voted to the First Team. He conducted his way to the second position in averaging a commendable almost 16 rebounds per game. Seini also had 12 points per game at the event. He recorded double-doubles in 5 games during the event. Seini's 15 points against Rwanda were the most he scored at the tournament.
Sekou Bagayoko, 16-year old point guard was selected to the First Team of FIBA Under 18 AfroBasket. He averaged over 15 points and 4 rebounds per game at the event. Bagayoko has totalled 2 games of 20 or more points during the event. His 24 points against Senegal were the most he scored at the tournament.
Aginaldo Neto, 18-year old Angolan guard was chosen to the First Team at the FIBA Under 18 AfroBasket. He plays for the Atletico Petroleos de Luanda. Neto started playing in the Angolan Under 18 National Team 2 years ago. He logged almost 17 points and over 5 rebounds per game at the event. Neto's 28 points against Uganda were the most he scored at the tournament.
