Rwanda - Morocco 56-51
Rwanda held off Morocco to improve at 2-0 record in Group C. Morocco enjoyed a 13-8 lead at the first break. But Rwanda bounced back with a 24-17 rally in the second frame to eke out the lead. They held Morocco to 21 points in the second half and raced to the win. Dylan Kayijuka (2006) stepped up with 20 points for Rwanda. Rayane Solhi (G-2007) answered with 13 points for Morocco.

Zambia - South Africa 70-61
Zambia claimed the first win in Group C. Zambia ran to a 23-12 lead ten minutes into the game. South Africa narrowed the gap at 3-point mark at the interval. But Zambia limited their opponents to just 26 points in the second half and raced to the win. Kelvin Mulenga (2006) and Frank Siame (2007) posted 15 points each for Zambia. Chadley Hargreaves (2006) tossed in 12 points for South Africa.
