Senegal grabbed a 33-7 lead after ten minutes. They followed with a 46-14 second half rally to seal the win. Seydina Faye (209-PF-2005) tallied 19 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Samoudine Moussa (184-G/F-2004) replied with 14 points for Benin. Algeria - Madagascar 49-55 Madagascar prevailed against Algeria for the second straight victory. Madagascar accounted for a 33-26 halftime lead. They protected the lead throughout the second half and marched to the win. Mathias M'Madi (194-G-2005) produced 20 points, while Landric Rakotonanahary (198-F-2004) added 12 points, 18 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Mehdi Bouhmama (2004) answered with 15 points and 11 rebounds for Algeria. Group BGuinea - Angola 57-47Guinea upset Angola to gain 2-1 record in Group B. Ibrahima Diallo (170-PG-2004) came up with 20 points to lead the charge. Guinea registered a 32-15 halftime lead. They extended the margin at 20-point mark in the third term and marched to the victory. Ibrahima Sanoh (C-2004) had 9 points for Guinea. Aloisio Andrade (200-C-2004) answered with 14 points and 7 rebounds for Angola. Egypt - Rwanda 75-52 Egypt fired past Rwanda to gain 3-1 record atop of Group B. Egypt got off to a strong start. They posted a 26-12 lead after ten minutes. They went on a 32-23 second half rally to ice the victory. Ibrahim Zahran (194-F-2004) delivered 16 points for Egypt.
