Egypt and Ivory Coast advance into title game in Rwanda

Egypt sealed their championship game berth as they saw off Cameroon in the semifinal clash today. Egypt recorded a 38-29 halftime lead. Egypt held Cameroon to just 21 points in the second half and raced to the win. Leila Eissa (2009) posted 19 points, while Jodi Abdalla (2009) had 12 points and 15 rebounds for Egypt. Shanice Mbaha (172-SF-2009) and Anouchka Malengue (170-G-2009) posted 12 points each for Cameroon.

Mali - Ivory Coast 40-45
Ivory Coast advanced into the title game in Rwanda as they topped Mali. Ivory Coast trailed by three points at the interval. But they ignited a 28-20 second half rally to snatch the win. Maelhys Ndri and Jane Diomande (2009) posted 9 points each for Ivory Coast. Yahe Bagayoko (2009) and Mariya Diawara (2009) chipped in 9 points apiece for Mali.
