Mali recorded the fourth win at the tournament as they knocked down Chad. Mali led from start to finish. They built a 40-13 halftime lead and cruised to the victory in the second half. Alimata Coulibaly (05) finished with 14 points and 16 rebounds, while Mable Doumbia (06) and Mariam Sarr (05) added 12 points each for Mali. Yessaigne Dallyam (05) answered with 7 points for Chad.

Egypt - Gabon 164-10
Egypt cruised past Gabon to finish preliminary round at 5-0 record. Egypt built a comfortable 78-5 halftime lead and breezed to the victory in the second half. Kenzy Ibrahim (171-PG-05) delivered 30 points, while Jana Sallman (189-F-06) and Jana Elalfy (192-C-05) tossed in 23 points each for Egypt. Jeanette Fouty (185-C-06) responded with 4 points for Gabon.

Uganda - Algeria 44-46
Algeria nipped Uganda for the third win in Cairo. Algeria grabbed a 29-21 halftime lead. Uganda responded with an 18-2 run in the third term to spur ahead. But Algeria struck right back with a 15-5 rally to snatch the win. Darine Boughalem (170-G-06) tossed in 15 points and made 11 steals for Algeria. Gertrude Nyamutoro (06) had 19 points for Uganda.
