Gabon - Mali 14-153
Mali drubbed Gabon for the second win in Cairo. Mali kept Gabon scoreless through three quarters out of four and rallied to a convincing victory. Seven players scored in double digits for Mali. Rokiatou Berthe (06) notched 24 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Cydi Biye (165-PG-06) replied with 6 points for Gabon.

Egypt - Algeria 101-23
Egypt thumped Algeria to rally to the second victory. The hosts piled up a 57-15 halftime advantage. They held Algeria to just 8 points in the second half and raced to the win. Jana Elalfy (192-C-05) had 24 points and 10 rebounds, while Salma Hassan had 20 points for the winning side. Hadjer Yahou (162-G-05) and Anais Mami (185-C-05) answered with 6 points each for Algeria.

Chad - Uganda 39-56
Uganda rallied past Chad for 1-1 record. Uganda marched to a 26-17 halftime lead. They went on a 15-6 run in the third quarter to clear off for good. Christine Namyalo (06) tossed in 20 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, while Gertrude Nyamutoro (06) contributed 13 points for the winners. Denise Naldjim (06) topscored with 16 points for Chad.
