Egypt and Mali to clash for title in Kigali

Angola - Egypt 50-71
Egypt are the first finalists in Kigali. They bruised Angola in the first semifinal. Egypt trailed by two points at the first break. But they went on a 22:4 run in the second term to ensure a 36:20 halftime lead. Egypt followed with a 20:11 run in the fourth frame to race to the victory. Lojain Elfatairy (164-PG-03) had 18 points, while Aya Elfiky (179-F-03) added 17 points and 17 rebounds for Egypt. Sara Caetano (172-SF-03) replied with game-high 34 points and 12 rebounds for Angola.

Mali - Mozambique 102-25
Mali coasted past Mozambique to advance into the championship game. Mali led from start to finish. They accumulated a 59:11 halftime lead and never looked back en route to the victory. Mariam Coulibaly (179-F-04) delivered 35 points, while Maimouna Haidara (181-PF-04) added 18 points and 14 rebounds for Mali. Leonor Do Alvar (167-G-04) replied with 10 points for Mozambique.
