ASS Champion 2010/2011 - Jun 25, 2011

ASS Sal won tonight the championship.This is a great season for the slaoui this season.They finished 3th in African Championship and second of the Arab championship in Dubai and they won the Cup of Throne and the league of Morocco.We can almost said that Abdelhakim Zouita is the MVP of the league.In almost 4 years ASS as already the supremacy in the moroccan league.The NTplayer of ASS must be ready now for the CAN in Madagascar this summer where Morocco has a chance to pass the first round.


ASS Sale clinch Throne Cup title - May 4, 2011

ASS Sale celebrated the Throne Cup title. They overcame Raja de Casablanca 72:68 in the Final to take the third Throne Cup trophy in a row. ASS Sale had to overcome pesky Wydad Casablanca in the semis to reach the title game. Wydad earned a 65:64 win in the first game of the best-of-two series but it was not enough. ASS Sale claimed a 78:65 success in the second game to advance into the title game.
Raja de Casablanca prevailed against Chabab Al Hoceima. Losing the opening game by 5 points Raja de Casablanca bounced back with a 17-point win in Game 2.
Raja de Casablanca looked good early in the Final. They led by five points after the opening term 18:13. But ASS Sale gradually took over in the second frame. They erased the deficit and pulled in front for a 38:32 halftime lead. ASS Sale outscored their opponents 23:11 in the third term and rallied to the victory afterwards.
