There was a minor upset in Kampala where 5th rankedKCCA P. (11-9) was defeated by seventh ranked Sommet (11-9) 67-52 on Sunday. Sommet forced 26 KCCA P. turnovers. Forward Peter Cheng stepped up and scored 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and British point guard Darren Ainembabazi (183-2001, college: Point Park) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Imran Samati responded with 10 points and 6 rebounds and Omar Waleed scored 11 points. KCCA P.'s coach rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Sommet moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated KCCA P.
