The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala:Blazers (#2) and Jaguars (#8). Jaguars were smashed at home by 27 points 66-93 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Blazers looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Jaguars ' players. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Peter Obleng (190-2003) who scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. DR Congolese forward Franck Nyembo (200-2006) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Blazers' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Peter Sifuma (-1996) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and Ian Lubwama added 12 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Blazers (15-2) have an impressive 15-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position behind leader City Oilers. Jaguars at the other side keep the eighth place with ten games lost.
