The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala:Sommet (#5) and Jaguars (#7). Sommet (7-5) won against visiting Jaguars (5-7) 64-50 . Sommet forced 22 Jaguars turnovers. Strangely Jaguars outrebounded Sommet 53-41 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for forward Peter Cheng who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Joseph Chuma (-1991) contributed with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Center Peter Sifuma (-1996) answered with 9 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks and Abraham Chuol added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Jaguars. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sommet moved-up to fourth place, which they share with KCCA P. Jaguars lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost.
