Not a big story in a game when 10th rankedUMU (2-9) lost to fourth ranked KCCA P. (7-4) in Kampala 60-78 on Friday. KCCA P. held UMU to an opponent 24.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 44.1 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded UMU 57-37 including a 44-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. KCCA P. looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by UMU 's players. It was an exceptional evening for Imran Samati who led the winners and scored 10 points and 22 rebounds. Guard Davis Assimwe accounted for 24 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Joshua Duallo (-1998) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and Micheal Opwonyo added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for UMU in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for KCCA P. . They maintain fourth place with 7-4 record. UMU lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with nine games lost. They share it with JKL Dolphins and Kampala R..
