The game between second rankedBlazers (7-1) and 12th ranked UPDF (1-8) in Kampala on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. Blazers outscored guests from Kampala 106-68 . Blazers forced 37 UPDF turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The former international guard Peter Obleng (190-2003) notched 26 points to lead the effort and Arthur Wanyoto supported him with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Blazers players scored in double figures. Even 20 points by Kevin Kasobya (180-2001) did not help to save the game for UPDF . Amos Mugisha (-2007) added 11 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Blazers have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 7-1 record behind leader City Oilers. UPDF lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with eight games lost.
