Regular Season Round 31: Jaguars - City Oilers 62-77

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala:City Oilers (#6) and Jaguars (#3). Jaguars were defeated at home 62-77 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Jaguars. City Oilers forced 24 Jaguars turnovers. It was a great evening for Canadian guard Chad Bowie (188-1996, college: SHSU) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Center Maker Mer helped adding 13 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side center Peter Sifuma (-1996) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and Ian Lubwama scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Jaguars' coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains sixth place with 13-10 record. Jaguars at the other side keep the third position with nine games lost.
