The most exciting game of round 28 in the NBL took place in Kampala. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 3rd rankedKampala R. (13-9) to fifth ranked Jaguars (13-8) 56-55 on Sunday evening. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Jaguars forced 22 Kampala R. turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Aaron Eboyu who helped to win the game recording 19 points. Center Peter Sifuma (-1996) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Puati Kikomba replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks and Mpiya Juf added 9 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Kampala R.Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Jaguars have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Sommet. Kampala R. at the other side dropped to the fourth position with nine games lost. They share it with UCU Canons.
