Eighth-rankedVictoria C. (8-10) made lots of trouble for third ranked Sommet (13-7) in Kampala on Friday. The visitors managed to secure only three-point victory 75-72 . However their fans expected much easier game. Sommet forced 24 Victoria C. turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Peter Cheng who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. DR Congolese Franck Nyembo (-2006) chipped in 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). David Garang Mayom (201-2000) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and Chuol Nyuot added 17 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sommet have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Victoria C. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the ninth position with ten games lost.
