The most exciting game of round 25 in the NBL took place in Kampala. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of much higher rankedUCU Canons (13-9) to fifth ranked Sommet (12-7) 62-60 on Sunday evening. Sommet forced 24 UCU Canons turnovers. DR Congolese Franck Nyembo (-2006) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and forward Peter Cheng chipped in 16 points and 11 rebounds. Four Sommet players scored in double figures. At the losing side international center Joel Kayira (208-2001) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 18 rebounds and Lwabaga Ibanda scored 23 points. Sommet have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. UCU Canons at the other side keep the second position with nine games lost.
