There was no surprise in Kampala where 10th rankedAngels (2-12) were crushed by first ranked JKL Dolphins (14-3) 86-32 on Saturday. JKL Dolphins held Angels to an opponent 19.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 47.3 percent accuracy of the winners. JKL Dolphins forced 31 Angels turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Angels ' players. The former international power forward Hope Akello (183-1997) had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Agatha Kamwada (-2000) chipped in 18 points and 5 steals during the contest. Five JKL Dolphins players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Joan Namatovu (-1999) with 8 points and 7 rebounds and forward Ritah Komugisa (-1982) scored 4 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. JKL Dolphins have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 14-3 record. Newly promoted Angels keep the tenth place with 12 games lost.
