The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala:UCU Ladies (#4) and Magic S. (#8). Magic S. was defeated at home 53-60 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. UCU Ladies forced 26 Magic S. turnovers and outrebounded them 58-30 including a 41-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Shillah Lamunu who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Matrina Anyango contributed with 9 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Kenyan forward Joy Mupalia replied with 6 points and 12 rebounds and forward Daphine Adong added 10 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Magic S.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. UCU Ladies have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Magic S. lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with seven games lost.
